Los Angeles, CA - Since hopping onto the music scene
last year, pop singer/songwriter ALYSON has enjoyed a string of
consecutive singles from her debut album cracking the Billboard
Dance Chart's Top 10 - Three to be exact.
From "Feel You", "What're You Gonna
Do" and "Nothin More to Say", Alyson's infectious sound and catchy
hooks have single-handedly conquered dance floors across the U.S.
and are about to debut on the big screen -- her 3rd single "Nothin
More To Say" is featured in the upcoming motion picture "National
Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2" in theaters later this year. And now
her fourth single, the title track from her debut album "Take A
Good Look", just cracked the Billboard Top 15 and hit # 1 on club
charts across the country. The music video for "Take A Good
Look" just hit #2 on bpm:tv's Hot 20 Chart in Canada and was just
announced as an official selection of the 2006 California Independent
Film Festival in the "Music Video" category taking place October
25th.
While Alyson's 4th single "Take a Good Look" continues to spin on
radio nationally and internationally (currently #47 on the International
Top 100 Rhythmic Airplay Chart at Beyondradio.com), a 5th song titled
"FOREVER" (from her debut album) will soon be available on her website
as a FREE download to thank DJs and fans who have supported her!
She is joining forces with dancehall reggae master ZEB to deliver
a new version of this original pop reggae track that combines Alyson's
smooth, sultry R&B vocals with Zeb's raucous, boisterous dancehall
style. Zeb has enjoyed a series of hit songs with his band
Detour Posse and Zeb's unbelievably hip and infectuous "Pet the
cat" and "Supafly Sunday". Zeb's music has already been heard
on MTV's hit show "Laguna Beach" and on a variety of radio stations
across the U.S. including L.A.'s 'World Famous' KROQ and 100.3 The
Beat. An expert drummer, Zeb has backed up artists such as
Sean Paul and Barrington Levy, touring around the world and playing
for crowds of 20,000 or more at Bob Marley Day, Reggae on the River,
Jamaica's Sunsplash and many others.
Alyson and Zeb are shooting the music video for "Forever" on HD
in mid-September with renowned LA choreographer Shaun Thompson who's
recent work includes collabs with Mariah Carey, Deborah Cox and
more. The "Forever" remix package will feature exclusive club
mixes by world-renowned international DJ/producer DJ Jean (based
in Amsterdam) and hot ground-breaking U.S.-based producers L.E.X.,
JY &Zeb, Jeffrey Allen and Jason Randolph.
Nominated "Best New Recording Artist" for 2005 at the Winter Music
Conference in Miami, Alyson generated enough excitement over the
last year that she was named a "Top 20 Artist of 2005" by Billboard
Magazine.
She's performed at numerous high-profile events, headlining this
year's Boston Pride and New York Pride Weekends. Bay Windows
Magazine declared in its Pride Guide "Alyson is one of the biggest
draws to this year's Pride Week". Alyson shared the stage
with '80s icons Debbie Gibson and Tiffany at the Los Angeles Gay
Pride concert in 2005, and will do so again at the 2006 Sacramento
Rainbow Festival headlining the event with Ru Paul during Labor
Day weekend. She performed as well at the 2005 Inland Aids
Walk and will be headlining the Next Magazine Out There Awards Show
at Crobar in Manhattan in September that will air on "here! tv".
She collaborated with Grammy Award-winning DJ/Producer Hex Hector
and world-renowned DJ/Producers Ralphi Rosario and Eric Kupper,
and attached her name to numerous music compilations distributed
worldwide.
Alyson is back in the studio writing and recording her sophomore
album set for release in early 2007. She will also next showcase
her talent with an exclusive live performance at the Amsterdam Dance
Event in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where she will be launching
her European promotional campaign for her debut album "Take A Good
Look".
