Alyson snagged big-room powerhouse Ralphi Rosario for remix duties on her latest single, “What’re You Gonna Do,” available through alysongrooves.com. Alyson’s whispery vox flutters over Rosario’s Vocal Club Mix, a no-frills tribal number that will likely earn the lion’s share of its deck-time in the circuit scene. The single’s dub, on the other hand, is far more robust, bursting with added percussion and screaming synth stabs. An additional re-rub by Randolph is available on the track’s maxi- disc.

• On the moody tip, check Guy Gerber’s AA-sided “Catch the Breeze/Wild Horses.” Grungy guitar sets a somber tone on “Catch the Breeze,” an instrumental gem that rides an infectious mellow wave to create a track that’s one part Jimmy Page homage and one part Ibiza funk. On the flip’s “Wild Horses,” the tom-toms take center stage, ushering in a bevy of cymbals and various percussive et ceteras that weave together into a jazzy jam unlike anything the folks at Twisted Records have printed up previously. “What can I do to top this?” states the track’s looping male vocal. Good question. —Gregory T Angelo
