Alyson--the New Queen of Pop?

alyson_pr_07_(low_res).jpgLos Angeles, CA - With our dear pop stars busy dealing with the cost of growing up too fast too soon (babies, marriage, divorce papers, rehabs), the stage has been left wide open for a new queen to step up, shake her thing and claim the throne.

That's where Alyson comes in! One of the sexiest women confidently conquering our music charts, Alyson has successfully broke through with not just a handful of music hits but also a voluminous amount of hits on her high-traffic website and myspace site offering free downloads of her single and music video.

From daytime label executive to overnight pop phenomenon, Alyson's climb to the top of the charts is nothing less than one of the most inspiring success stories.
Nominated "Best New Recording Artist" at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, she generated enough excitement that she was named a "Top 20 Artist of 2005" by Billboard Magazine.

And rightfully so as Alyson is once again bringing sassiness, sexiness, and energy to Pride weekend across the country with exclusive live performances of her high-power infectious grooves that have all undeniably become club anthems.

The talented artist is scheduled to headline a quartet of Pride weekends:
1) LA Pride on Saturday, June 9 at HERE LOUNGE
2) Mickey's in West Hollywood, California, a pre-LA Pride show
3) Rhode Island Pride this June
4) Seattle Pride on Sunday, June 24 sharing the stage with Jenna Drey and Reina
She will also perform at a benefit for the Seattle Pride on Monday, June 25 and
is as well set to conduct a live on-air interview on KNHC.

She's performed at numerous high-profile events, headlining this year's Boston Pride, New York Pride and Sacramento Pride Weekends. Boston's Bay Windows Magazine declared in its Pride Guide "Alyson is one of the biggest draws to this year's Pride Week". Alyson shared the stage with '80s icons Debbie Gibson and Tiffany at the Los Angeles Gay Pride concert in 2005, and again when she headlined the 2006 Sacramento Rainbow Festival. She collaborated with Grammy Award-winning DJ/Producer Hex Hector and world-renowned DJ/Producers Ralphi Rosario and Eric Kupper, and is featured on numerous music compilations distributed worldwide. She earned a prestigious nomination for "Best Music Video" at the 2006 Hollywood Film Festival, and took home the award for "Best Music Video" at the 2006 California Independent Film Festival for her fourth single "Take a Good Look" from her debut album of the same name.

Alyson has certainly turned more than turn-tables and dance floors around the world, she has turned Valentine's day into a "single" affair making every day a February 14th celebration with the release of her new song and music video "FOREVER" as a FREE download via her website - her way to say I LOVE YOU to her fans! (www.alysonmusic.com). She joined forces with dancehall reggae master ZEB to deliver a new version of her original pop/reggae track "Forever" from her debut album that combines Alyson's smooth, sultry R&B vocals with Zeb's raucous, boisterous dancehall style. Zeb has enjoyed a series of hit original songs including the unbelievably hip and infectuous "Pet the cat" and "Supafly Sunday" which have been heard on MTV's hit show "Laguna Beach" and on a variety of radio stations across the U.S. including L.A.'s 'World Famous' KROQ and 100.3 The Beat. An expert drummer, Zeb's reggae band "Detour Posse" has toured around the world with such artists as Sean Paul and Barrington Levy, playing for crowds of 20,000 or more at Bob Marley Day, Reggae on the River, Jamaica's Sunsplash and many others.

Yes, Alyson is ready to give back! She recently performed live in front of a crowd of 15,000 people at the Rose Bowl during the Komen Race for The Cure Marathon, and also attended the 2007 Winter Music conference in Miami with another exclusive show at "Yuca" where she performed live the string of top-charting billboard hits that have delightfully infiltrated our dance floors, radio airwaves and Ipods!

Her debut album "Take A Good Look" is available in most retail stores across the U.S. including Virgin Megastore, Wherehouse, Barnes and Noble and Borders, and at most online retailers including iTunes, Amazon.com, Tower.com and many more. Alyson has garnered impressive media coverage with profiles in Billboard Magazine, Music Connection, Instinct Magazine, In News Weekly, Edge Boston, Frontiers Magazine, David Atlanta, Curve Magazine and about.com, among numerous others. She also appeared on a variety of TV shows including "LatinEyes", Q.Television's "Brunch" and "On Q Live".

The talented singer battled successfully against the Goliath of corporate Record label moguls to emerge as one of the most inspirational music heroines of our times. A resolute follower of D.I.Y ethos, Alyson released her freshman album "Take A Good Look" through her own indie label PM Media. Since hopping onto the music scene last year, pop singer/songwriter ALYSON has enjoyed a string of consecutive singles from her debut album cracking the Billboard Dance Chart's Top 10 - four to be exact!

Alyson is also back in the studio writing and recording on her sophomore album due out in mid-2007 that will again feature songs all co-written by Alyson and span a variety of pop styles. For more information about Alyson and her music, please visit www.alysonmusic.com.
