Alyson Comes Home

Rhode Island Pop Artist Returns to Her Home State

Alyson is coming home this summer with a trio of exclusive Live shows in conjunction with the 2007 Rhode Island Pride Weekend. This will be the first time Alyson gets to perform live in Rhode Island where her parents reside. In addition to being a headliner at Rhode Island Pride, she is also performing in the Rhode Island Pride Parade &will then follow with another show at "Mirabar" later that night.

Already dubbed the "new Kylie Minogue", Alyson has enjoyed a string of top-charting billboard hits that have delightfully infiltrated our dance floors, radio airwaves and Ipods! And of course, it doesn't hurt the eyes that she is blessed with good looks and a magnetic sex-appeal!

June 2007 will be most certainly be the Summer of Alyson as the talented artist will be bringing once again sassiness, sexiness, and high energy to Pride weekends across the nation with exclusive live performances of her infectious billboard chart-topping grooves that have all undeniably become club anthems and allowed her to build a strong fan base as well as name recognition within the gay/lesbian community.

She is on stage, on tour, online, in print, in the mix and on screen including on LOGO TV where she will premiere her new music video "FOREVER" on Sunday, April 29th at 9 pm (PST) on MTV LOGO's show "NewNowNext" hosted by special guest Rufus Wainwright.

Alyson is a singer/songwriter who stands alone in today's pop music world -- she is the only truly independent pop artist to score 4 consecutive Top 5 national hit singles in the U.S. from a debut album. Beyond the breakthrough status, this young performer achieved what is nearly impossible for an independent pop artist - all 4 of her singles from her self-penned debut album "Take A Good Look" hit the Top 5 on the prestigious DJ Times Magazine National Top 40 Dance/Crossover Chart and the Top 10 on the Billboard Dance Chart over the past year and a half. What makes this chart success even more remarkable is that Alyson released the album herself on her own label, "PM Media".

This chart success led Billboard Magazine to name Alyson a "Billboard Top 20 Artist of 2005" and led to her nomination as "Best New Artist" at the 2005 International Dance Music Awards at the Winter Music Conference. Alyson's music has also successfully crossed into multiple radio formats, receiving airplay of all 4 of her singles from her debut album on 100 radio stations worldwide spanning Top 40, Urban, Dance and AC formats, and has reached #1 on both Urban and Dance Club Charts. In addition to chart and radio success of her 4 singles, Alyson's music video for her 4th single "Take A Good Look" just earned the grand prize for "Best Music Video" at the 2006 California Independent Film Festival, received a nomination for "Best Music Video" at the high-profile 2006 Hollywood Film Festival.

She has turned herself into one of those perfect case studies of successful internet marketing, utilizing her website and myspace account as a platform to upload songs and videos, announce shows, promote albums and intereact with fans. She has ultimately broken through the traditional barriers in music industry proving that a successful music career is a 'clickable' business!

She continues to break new ground with the release of her 5th single "FOREVER" (and the music video) offered as a FREE DOWNLOAD via her website (www.alysonmusic.com) - her way to thank her fans. Alyson's new single "Forever" was just released to club DJs last week, and it is already the # 1 Breakout on this week's Billboard Dance Chart.

Alyson is scheduled to headline a series of Pride weekend celebrations:
June 9: here lounge - Los Angeles Pride (West Hollywood, CA)
June 16: Rhode Island Pride (Providence, RI)
June 16: Mirabar (Providence, RI)
June 24: Seattle Pride (Seattle, WA)
